Ledger Live Account - A Step-by-Step Guide 

Your Ledger Live account is the official companion app for managing your crypto portfolio with a Ledger hardware wallet . Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to get started:

Step 1: Download & Install

First, download the app from the only official source: https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live . Choose the version for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android) .

Step 2: Connect Your Ledger Device

Open Ledger Live and connect your Ledger device via USB (or Bluetooth for the Nano X) . On the welcome screen, click "Get started" .

Step 3: Set Up or Restore

• New Device: Select "Set up a new device" to generate a new private key. You will be guided to choose a PIN and write down your 24-word Secret Recovery Phrase .
• Existing Recovery Phrase: Select "Restore your recovery phrase" to regain access to your existing assets .

Step 4: Security Checklist

Complete the security checklist to verify your device is genuine. This process performs a cryptographic check with Ledger’s secure server .

Step 5: Add Accounts
